Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Ms. Zhou remained active during the 2020 season, which saw her as Kenzie in Seattle Opera’s filmed production of Earth to Kenzie, the Voice in Ricky Ian Gordon’s chamber piece Orpheus and Euridice with Dacha Theater, and featured in various virtual recitals with organizations such as Wear Yellow Proudly and Capitol Arts Workshop. Summer of 2022 she will return to Seattle Opera to reprise her role of Kenzie in Earth to Kenzie

Parallel to her active singing career, Ms. Zhou has worked with children of many age groups in diverse capacities for over 15 years as a classroom teacher, tutor, nanny, voice teacher, and choir director. She also maintains her own private voice studio. She loves sharing the joy of music making, helping kids develop healthy singing habits and musicianship and to share their unique voice as performers.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, picnics, art of all kinds, and spending time with her partner and her cats.
